Who doesn’t love a quick and efficient leg workout (for me it was in between clients)! I wanted to get some strength training done in a short break I had, and since my upper body was suuuuuper sore, I did this Lowe body focus circuit. And it made my legs 🔥🔥🔥🔥

On a side note, I am 8 months postpartum now and feeling better and better each day as I get back to my old self. Been working hard in all realms of my health and fitness between proper nutrition and meal prepping, cardio, strength training workouts(and some wine, of course! 🍷) Bouncing back from pregnancy Al has been one of the hardest transitions ever, way more than my Achilles or back surgeries!!!! Wanting to feel myself again has motivated me 100% and I’ve lost over 20 pounds since returning to work in September (plus a ton of weight lost naturally while on leave). Anyways…here ya go:

A. Bulgarian Split Squats with 2 dumbbells - 15 reps L/R
B. Sumo squat with double pulse - 15 reps
C. Bulgarian Split Squats with 1 (heavy) Kettlebell - 15 reps L/R
D. Box Squats w/ single kettlebell - 20 reps
🔥REPEAT 3x🔥 you can increase the weight each round or decrease it, you can change the reps to 10-12 as well!

Meet one of our student athletes, Shivam!

Instead of playing his age group 14 and under, he started 16-and-under tennis tournaments in July 2024, which requires tremendous strength and stamina against larger-built, older kids. He was ranked 101 on Long Island in July 2024. Once he started strength training @enerjenicfitness with Certified Coach Sean in February of 2023, he has moved up to number 46 and is targeting to be top 10 players on Long Island by Fall 2025. Shivam was ranked top 2005 in 14 and under and ranked among top 3100 in 16 and under (out of 10,000 ranked players). Unbelievable progress and we are SO proud of Shivam and his consistency with personal training here at our studio. Keep up the incredible work.

Last year, we started our annual Giving Tree with one of our members, Erin, who works for Our Place and Shining Point Community Residence, which is a place that gives hope to challenged youth, helps them recover from trauma, provides them with community and prepares them for change to move toward a life of recovery.

The gift tags on the tree are actual presents that are on the wish list for these children. All you have to do is stop by the studio and grab a tag, and make whatever donation you can to help brighten the holiday season for these kids. The box is right at the entrance of our studio right along with the tree. Please come by anytime!

I’m a busy working Mom now and business owner, and when I need to get a quick workout in between clients, it’s easy to say “I have no time today” and I’ll just skip my workout…but now that my son can keep himself busy, I can squeeze in a 20-30 minute quick dumbbell workout! I got a great sweat and felt good to get some lifting and resistance training in despite my busy day…AND I can keep an eye on my son while doing my workout!

Set your timer for 20 minutes and do these moves as an AMRAP: 10-12 reps of each will give you a solid FULL body workout. Before you know it, your timer will go off!

Here’s some footage from Cindy’s Family Yoga class she hosted a few weeks ago. She did SO much in one hour for the adults and kids to work together, have fun, stretch, exercise, taught some challenging yoga positions with their kids, and other teamwork games. Everything about this class made everyone smile and laugh and great memories were made. We cannot wait until the next family yoga class at EJF!

Saturday the 14th Cindy will be hosting her next set of classes for KIDS only! Parents can work out in our studio for free upstairs with a free day pass for the hour! Don’t miss out!
